About Andrew Deme, President

A proud University of Florida, Warrington School of Business graduate and lifelong Florida resident, Andrew Deme, Jr. has cultivated a deep connection to Sarasota, which has had great significance since his early childhood. Beyond professional commitments, Andrew views contributing to local development as a personal commitment, reflecting his profound connection to this region.

Throughout his accomplished career, Andrew has demonstrated his expertise by overseeing the construction of over 550 new residences for national home builders. He has extensive experience in the management of the entire new home construction process all the way from lot preparation to delivering the keys to new homes for delighted customers. Among this expertise, Andrew has always put his customers first, even after the sale. He has extensive experience doing just that by efficiently handling warranty cases in previous positions and successfully resolving over 2,500 cases while serving as a warranty manager for those same national developers. This involved addressing various challenges, including foundational/structural issues, managing routine cosmetic matters, and ensuring a quality product was delivered with continuing service after the sale. The number one priority for Andrew is having satisfied customers.

Outside the realm of construction, Andrew’s personal hobbies underscore a love for exploration and adventure. Having traveled extensively worldwide and within the United States, he enjoys hiking, sightseeing, and skiing. Yet, his true passion lies in the serene pursuit of fishing for pelagic species, a hobby shared with his brother and friends. This commitment to professional excellence and personal fulfillment forms the core principles of Blu Construction under Andrew Deme’s leadership.
